Fine Arts has been a part of life since early childhood, including musical pursuits in piano and choral music as well as performing and volunteering in different musical venues.  As a parent of two successful Amarillo sons who also participated in Fine Arts music programs, it seemed natural to come to work helping teachers and students succeed in a district that values the importance of Fine Arts.  As a graduate of WTSU, I worked as a professional for 40 years prior to beginning work for AISD Fine Arts department in 2015 as the music clerk and then as Fine Arts secretary in 2016.  The Panhandle has been home to me and my husband, Jerry, moving to Amarillo in 1980.  Any spare time is spent with our peacocks, our two cats, our two adopted dogs, Red and Sam, along with the ultimate joy of our lives - our four amazing grandchildren of Haslett and San Antonio.
