There are several different types of tests given at the District level.

Some tests, such as State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (S.T.A.A.R.) and Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (T.E.L.P.A.S.), are state-mandated tests and are handled by the District Testing Coordinator's office.

Tests such as Advanced Placement (A.P.) and Credit by Exam offer students the chance to earn high school or college credit and are handled by the District's Guidance and Counseling office. More information about many of these tests can be found in the links below.
