PROGRAM FOR AGES 0-4
The preschool program is located at the Amarillo Speech, Hearing and
Language Center at 1300 Wallace Blvd. The Center was specially designed
to meet the needs of hearing impaired children. Each classroom has an observation
area that allows parents to watch their children without disturbing them.
The media center houses a variety of audiological devices which help students
improve their auditory acuity and assist them in language development. The
children also enjoy musical therapy using the "music floor". This
interactive space enables participants to experience musical beats and rhythms.
