Class of 1991
Message from Rhonda Lodftis (Honeycutt)
Hell fellow alumni from 1991! I just was browsing along and noticed we do not have a “1991” section listed on the Alumni page of the AHS web site. I know at some time the class of ’91 had a its own web page but I have not been able to find it recently-we all know we were the best graduating class so how about getting our own 1991 forum going so as to not let these other alumni show us up! Who doesn’t like to talk about themselves especially now that we are all successful, mature adults in our thirties (well we are all in our thirties but I am sure only a few of us are successful and mature ha! ha! I am neither by the way!) I would love to get a note every now and then to see how everyone is doing-even the people I can’t remember-Wouldn’t it be nice not to have to wait to all those dreaded reunions before we can catch up-just do it through this forum and you never have to worry about hair loss or weight gain again-so I will get it started and let you guys know how boring, stable and uneventful my life is: I am living in Greenville, SC which is completely different from Texas in every way-I definitely can stand out here! I am a counselor who works with women who have been in abusive relationships-I received a Masters degree form Clemson University in 2001, and I have an 11 year old daughter who is going on 22 if you know what I mean-I am fixin to start charging her rent and giving her bills if she doesn’t stop acting like she knows everything because I know I never acted that way when I was her age! The sad thing is she is so much like me and that is scary when I start thinking back to my pre-teen and teen days-yikes-anyone else feel my pain? I am happily married for a second time to a good ol’ southern boy who would refer to me as his “ol’ lady” if he wasn’t afraid my good “ol’ lady” foot would land somewhere on his good ol’ southern charm (so we have a wonderful understanding of one another-that is why our marriage works). Life is so boring it is good and that is nice-so you guys can, I guess reach me, or others-hopefully people will sign on-through this forum and we can all be amazed at how wonderful we turned out or didn’t-does it really matter? I’m sure we all have success stories and failures we would love to share-I am thirty so I can no longer humiliate myself and I am way past having any shame-laughter truly is the best medicine-so get online and lets keep in touch-once a sandie always a sandie-by the way no one here in SC gets that-they are like what the heck is a sandie-they are all about animal mascot names here-you know they are kind of backwards and slow-they have to have things they can relate to!
Give me a holler!
