Dufus McSnob

North Heights Alternative School

The purpose of this project is to involve you in understanding the various government agencies that may be of use to you at some time in your life. It is based on real life experiences of previous students that have come to our school. A few of these experiences follow.

Dufus recently received a speeding ticket. When stopped, the trooper noticed that Dufus did not have car insurance or a driver's license. Dufus was arrested. Now he must make arrangements for bail.

Dufus is the sole supporter of child. He needs financial aid and food. Since the child does not do everything other babies his age do, he may need special help.

While working on this project, you will need to find out the different agencies Dufus will be dealing with and how to contact people to get help. After finding this information, you will write a brief explanation of what will be the probable result.
