Walter is a teacher assistant at North Heights Alternative School. He has worked with special education and AEP (Alternative Education Placement) students. Walter says that it is a great feeling to see the light turn on when a student can understand what you're showing them. Even better, he claims, is when you are able to see an AEP student turn his or her life around to become a better student. Walter graduated from Clovis High School, and his philosophy about teaching is that there is nothing better than to mold our future in the positive direction, and students are our future. |
