Vocational

Tommy attended high school at Tulosa Midway in Corpus Christi.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard Payne University and a Master of Science degree from Southwest Texas State University.  He taught for 32 years in San Antonio.  He has taught and coached in the areas of Marketing Education, Business Education and Physical Education.

Pam facilitates a high quality program of education and services for pregnant and parenting students and their children. She writes grants, teaches parenting and child development, oversees the on-campus child development center and transportation of students and their children, presents workshops at state and local conferences, and consults with entities interested in various aspects of teen parenting programs. Pam is a 1966 graduate of North Texas State University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics. She has a lifetime teaching certificate with a vocational endorsement. Upon college graduation, Pam taught for 4 years. She chose to stay home for the next 20 years to be a housewife, community volunteer and mother. She returned to teaching when Amarillo ISD contacted her in 1989 to develop and implement a program district wide for pregnant and parenting students.
