Knowledge and skills related to child growth and development equip individuals to develop positive relationships with children and effective parenting and caregiver skills.  Individuals use these skills to promote the well-being and healthy development of children, strengthen families in a culturally diverse society, and pursuer careers related to the care and education of children.

Procedures:

The completion of all objectives constitutes one full semester. Students will use resource books, videos information, and Internet and Microsoft programs to create presentations.  This project incorporates reading, writing, science, technology, and math.

Student will complete 28 assignments for the Publisher created newsletter for 3 points each.  Newsletter presentation (color, style, and layout) is worth 10 points.  Career decision assignment is  6 points.
