Each campus will:

Have the campus diagnostician conduct dyslexia assessments, coordinate the campus dyslexia program, and work with the 504 campus coordinator to follow AISD Section 504 procedures. This person will follow the process for assessing students for characteristics of dyslexia as outlined in the Dyslexia Handbook. Make a site based decision to determine which reading intervention(s) will be used at their individual campus. The intervention(s) chosen should be characterized by the descriptors and as appropriate for the reading needs of the student as found in The Dyslexia Handbook, Revised 2007, Updated 2010 in Instruction for Students with Dyslexia. | |

Have a teacher(s) prepared to utilize the techniques and strategies found in The Dyslexia Handbook, Revised 2007, Updated 2010 in "Instruction for Students with Dyslexia." |
