Local Operating
Guidelines
Bus Behavior
Student behavior on
the bus is an extension of the school
day. Inappropriate behavior causes
concerns for the safety and well-being
of all persons on the bus. The following
guidelines have been designed to ensure
the safe transportation of all students
on the bus.
- All rules will be
posted on the bus.
- Each student will
have a behavior report card listing the
rules for behavior on the bus. This
report card will be completed twice
daily and returned to the TASK / SLC
teacher.
- All guidelines
pertaining to behavior on the bus as
documented in the ARD will be followed
by all staff.
Please be reminded that in regard to
students who are being served in special
education, transportation personnel make
bus removal
recommendations to the building
principal and the building principal
and/or an appropriate ARD committee make
the final decisions concerning bus
removals.
