Ms. Robin Malone
Robin Malone was appointed to the Amarillo ISD Board of Trustees in September 2018 and then elected to a two-year unexpired term in May 2019. She has been Director of the Legal Studies/Paralegal Studies Program and an assistant professor at Amarillo College since 2015.
Ms. Malone has been an attorney in solo practice, an adjunct professor, and a Deputy County Attorney and Juvenile Diversion Program coordinator in Omaha, Nebraska. She was also Assistant City Attorney for the City of Amarillo from 2006-2007, and she worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas in 2015.
Ms. Malone was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo High School. She received two associate’s degrees from Amarillo College in 1991, then went on to earn a B.B.A. in Business Management from Texas Tech University in 1993 and a J.D. From Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1996.
Robin serves on the Board of Directors for Family Support Services and the Board of Directors for Legal Aid Northwest Texas. She is also a member of the Diversity Committee and the Faculty Senate at Amarillo College.
