The Regional Day School Programs for the Deaf would like to share with you some success stories from our students and alumni.  Listed below are just a few of our honorees.  Please check back often as we add more to our distinguished list.

 AISD  

Former Deaf Education student, Lacy Sims, recently received her Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) this past May 2016. This is a one-year Certificate of Completion from Amarillo College.  Way to go Lacy!

 
AISD  Jinna (Wright) Hodgkins, former RDSPD student, attended our program from Preschool through the 12th grade. Click here to read more about Jinna.  
Ben Diaz  Ben Diaz, former Lamar, Fannin, and Caprock student, played football throughout his four years at Caprock High School.  He was honored for his courage and perseverance.  
Ben will be graduating December 16, 2016 from Amarillo College's Auto Mechanics program.
Amarillo College has identified Ben as a potential member in The Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement (SCLA), an Honor Society with over 140 chapters nationwide.

 Hayden Hayden Morris, former RDSPD student, was spotlighted in the Pigskin Review 2010 for his leadership. Born profoundly deaf, Hayden has shown dedication and drive in both athletics and academics. He graduated from WTAMU with a degree in civil engineering.

 Luke Luke Stapleton, former RDSPD student, has achieved many milestones already in his life. He is currently practicing Law in the Oklahoma City area.

Erica Trevino, former AISD deaf student, graduated from Amarillo College with an Associate of Forensic Science degree and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree from West Texas A&M University. Congratulations Erica! "After Caprock, comes college"
