September 2, 2025 – 291 Amarillo ISD students earned honors from the College Board National Recognition Program, which recognizes their academic excellence and hard work in high school. These students are among 15% of high school students nationwide who are recognized based on their achievement on AP® Exams and/or PSAT-related assessments. Eligible AISD students had the opportunity to claim two awards: The First-Generation Recognition Award and the School Recognition Award.
