September 9, 2025 – Amarillo ISD has earned distinctions from two financial reporting and transparency programs.

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has awarded AISD the Certificate of Excellence (COE) in Financial Reporting which recognizes school districts that uphold the highest standards of financial reporting and transparency. Districts that earn the COE have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to clear and accurate financial reporting that is crucial for engaging school communities and building their trust.

The Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts’ Transparency Stars program recognized AISD for going above and beyond in their transparency efforts which includes providing clear and meaningful financial information by posting financial documents, as well as thorough summaries, visualizations, downloadable data and other relevant information.
