September 10, 2025 – Amarillo High seniors Finn Archer and Quan Nguyen are 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalists. This tremendous designation ranks them among the nation’s highest-scoring students on the PSAT/NMSQT test and places them in the top one percent of US high school seniors. Finn and Quan will advance in the competition to potentially become finalists and compete for millions of dollars in scholarships. Year after year, Amarillo ISD is home to MORE National Merit Scholars. In the past decade, more than 100 AISD students have earned National Merit honors.
