November 3, 2025 – AISD high school students enrolled in AP classes made some significant gains in 2025. AISD students took 23 percent more AP tests, with 60 percent scoring a three or higher, an increase of 8 percent from 2024. Among all four AISD high schools, 339 students earned the designation of AP Scholar, AP Scholar with Honor, or AP Scholar with Distinction. Plus, AISD is the only school district in the area to offer the AP Capstone Diploma, with five students qualifying for the specialty diploma in 2025.
