January 1, 2026 – Amarillo ISD’s Amarillo Virtual Academy (AVA) is accepting registration for spring semester classes until January 9. Amarillo ISD offers 10 high school courses online through the Amarillo Virtual Academy. Courses currently offered include Art 1A, Art 1B, PE 1A, PE 1B, English IV, Dollars & Sense, PFL & Economics, US Government, Professional Communication, Team Sports Officiating in volleyball and basketball. Some courses are restricted to certain grade levels. Class sizes are limited and some classes may reach capacity before the registration deadline.

Before registering, students should consult with their campus counselor to ensure the courses they select align with their graduation plan. Once confirmed, register through School Cash found on our E-Payments web page which has a resource section for how to register and other online help topics.
