February 6, 2026 – 1,438 Amarillo ISD students got a warm congratulations from Superintendent Dr. Deidre Parish and a certificate commemorating their achievement as Superintendent’s Scholars. Ceremonies honoring fall semester scholars were held this week at all four high schools. To achieve this recognition, students excel academically. Superintendent’s Scholars maintain a 95 average in regular courses and at least a 90 in AP and Pre-AP courses.
