June 23, 2026 – Not in the last 20 or so years has an athlete from Palo Duro High School had as many Division I offers as Palo Duro wide receiver Kyron Brown. He’ll finish out his high school career playing for the Dons as a senior in the upcoming school year. After that, Kyron will play football at the University of Texas at Austin. Brown announced his commitment to be a Longhorn after narrowing the pool to Texas, Northwestern and K-State. He had considered more than 30 offers to play at the college level and earned visits to PDHS from 25 Division I coaches. Watch Kyron’s announcement on Facebook.
