July 13, 2026 – At the July 13, 2026, Amarillo ISD board meeting, AISD Superintendent Dr. Deidre Parish read a statement and presented a commemorative plaque to trustee Doyle Corder.

“One of Amarillo ISD's long-standing traditions is recognizing those who have served as President of the Board with a commemorative plaque in appreciation of their leadership and service. Mr. Doyle Corder served as Board President from May 15, 2023, through June 8, 2026,” Dr. Parish said. “On behalf of the District, it's my privilege to present this plaque and to thank him for his dedicated leadership during that time and his continued commitment as a member of the Amarillo ISD Board of Trustees.”
