Extended School Day

With today’s busy schedules, many students are in need of a safe place to go after school until parents get off of work. Amarillo ISD has 19 Extended School Day Programs across the district that enrich social and academic development.

Extended School Day Hours

Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Rates and Fees

  • $200 per month, $100 per month for free and reduced lunch students
  • Additional $25 charge for kindergarten students
  • $50 per student, non-refundable registration fee

How Can I Make Payments?

Once you’ve been accepted to the program, please visit your mobile device’s app store to download the “SmartCare for Parents” App.

You will use the SmartCare app to access all ESD information including payments and contact information.
