Amarillo ISD's teaching and learning methods focus on all aspects of children's cognitive, social, emotional, language, artistic, and physical development. To ensure student success, Amarillo's educators have developed AISD's Curriculum Standards 2.0, aligned from Pre-Kindergarten through High School to support best practices in education.

KinderKonzert:
KinderKonzerts are sponsored by the Amarillo Symphony Guild. The Amarillo Symphony performs holiday favorites for Kindergarten students enrolled in AISD and area schools. Instruments are featured and the sounds the instruments make are introduced to the young participants. The performances are held at the Amarillo Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts.
