Registration For Fall 2024 Courses

Registering for an Amarillo Virtual Academy (AVA) online class is simple and easy, and is detailed in the section below titled “Online Registration.”

Summer Registration:

• Registration for Fall 2024 AVA courses will be open July 24, 2024, and continue through August 23rd.
• Classes will be held August 22, 2024, through December 19, 2024.

After checking with your counselor to make sure the classes you want to take are part of your graduation plan, you may register online and pay online. See below for more information.

After you have registered, check your student’s AISD email account to view your Canvas user name and other Canvas login information.
 

Online Registration

AVA does not offer in-person registration and payment. You must register and pay online.

Visit the our EPayments webpage (Opens in new window) to sign up for the account OR to select AVA from the list and begin your registration for classes.

Please note: If you qualify for AISD free and reduced lunch, you will be able to select that option when online registration is opened.

Important Notes:

• Driver Education registration is made directly with Virtual Drive USA at 817-771-3317
• TxVSN registration and payment will be made with your high school counselor

Course Costs

Amarillo Virtual Academy Course Costs:

• The cost for AISD students is $141 per course
   
• The cost for AISD students who qualify for free and reduced lunch is $70 per course.
   
• The cost for other Region 16 students is $175 per course

Texas Virtual School Network Costs:

• TxVSN course costs vary from $250 to $400 depending on the network provider
