Election Day is Saturday, May 7, 2022

May 6, 2022 – Amarillo ISD voters have a final opportunity to make their voice heard in the school bond election on Saturday, May 7. The projects in the bond package are on the ballot as four separate propositions.

  • Proposition A ($180.6 million): Includes the replacement of Austin Middle school, safety and security items, fine arts additions and renovations as well as athletics improvements

  • Proposition B ($19 million): Includes renovations to Dick Bivins Stadium, such as reconstructing the spectator stands and expanding the track to 8 lanes to meet UIL hosting guidelines

  • Proposition C ($38.3 million): Includes a new district natatorium to provide a facility for student swim teams

  • Proposition D ($48 million): Includes new multi-purpose indoor activity facilities at each of the four traditional high schools to serve fine arts, athletics programs, PE and more 
     

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday at the following locations:
