Rogers Elementary Garden Commemorates Special Volunteer

[Updated With Event Photos...] May 19, 2025 – The Rogers Elementary Garden is already legendary in the community, and now the garden is forever commemorated in honor of its own legend. Cheryl Ray is a Master Gardener who has been volunteering her expertise to help Rogers students cultivate their garden for more than a decade. The school recently invited parents and students to see the garden and surprised everyone, especially Ms. Ray, by naming the garden in her honor, hosting a ribbon cutting, and hanging a plaque to commemorate Cheryl’s legacy of contribution to the Rogers community.
