Families Can Now Access COVID-19 Tracking Tools

September 11, 2020 – Amarillo ISD families can access important COVID-19 information related to cases at their child’s school any time they want with tools now available on campus websites.

AISD is committed to notifying parents each time there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in their child’s school, whether it is a student or staff member. To help parents stay informed, the notification letters and tools to track campus and district-wide cases are available on AISD campus websites.

• Positive case notification letters for each campus are posted on that school’s website
• Trackers indicating the total number of cases for a campus, along with a district-wide total of cases, will be updated on school websites
• The notification letters and trackers can be found by going to www.amaisd.org, clicking “Campus” and selecting a school. Then click the link for COVID-19 Campus Safety Plan & Resources.

The campus and District-wide COVID-19 trackers are available now. The COVID-19 Campus Safety Plan & Resources page on campus websites also includes each school’s campus safety plan with useful information specific to that campus.

Families can help reduce the spread of the virus in schools and in the community by reinforcing the importance of hand hygiene, social distancing and most of all, wearing a mask at school. Parents should monitor their child’s health on a daily basis and keep sick children home from school.
