Staff Compensation & Work Schedules

Staff Compensation & Work Schedules

Our Current Plan for Work Schedules

  1. Unless otherwise notified by their immediate supervisor, ALL AISD STAFF will receive regular communication from their direct supervisor concerning work activities and expectations. Unless otherwise defined as essential work or voluntarily participating in small group campus activities all AISD staff will be in a ‘work from home’ mode from March 23, 2020 through the end of the 2019-2020 school year. In the coming days, all AISD staff will receive communication from their direct supervisor alerting them to their work schedule and what to do on Monday March 23, 2020
  2. There will be times when essential staff may be asked to work on-site. These groups will follow all social distancing recommendations and requirements including limiting groups to no more than 10 people, and preferably on a volunteer basis.
  3. Initially, there may be a need for some essential staff to work on-site. As this situation evolves, the definition of essential staff may change. In our current situation, essential staff may mean teachers and/or campus staff, ESC personnel, transportation vendor staff, custodial/maintenance staff, and child nutrition staff.
  4. Supervisors will notify staff of what ‘work from home’ will look like for each employee. This will include being available during regular work hours to conduct ‘at home work’ and the ability to respond to their supervisor in a reasonable amount of time if requested.
  5. We will monitor the situation daily to make changes as necessary.
